Victorious Living In The Last Days Part 3 : Pastor Tony Samuels
When you got saved, you were saved into the Kingdom of God, and into a move of God. How you live your life will determine how powerful the move of God is in your life. One thing we never want to do is to hinder the move of God in our lives, especially in the last days. We want to be in the center of what God is doing, not on the outskirts.
The move of God in your life is connected to the communication of your mouth. You must understand that the Lord moves through victorious communication. There are many moves of God that come after a declaration of victory. Before David defeated Goliath in the natural, he defeated him in the spirit with the words of his mouth. It says in 1 Samuel 17:46 (KJV): This day will the Lord deliver thee into mine hand; and I will smite thee, and take thine head from thee; and I will give the carcasses of the host of the Philistines this day unto the fowls of the air, and to the wild beasts of the earth; that all the earth may know that there is a God in Israel. And we know what happened; the Lord did exactly what David spoke, and manifested David’s victorious communication.
There is no question; we will face challenges in this life, especially in the last days…but it’s not about the challenge; it’s what you say in the midst of the challenge that will determine the move of God. Proverbs 12:6 (KJV) says, The words of the wicked are to lie in wait for blood, but the mouth of the upright shall deliver them. Deliverance is in your mouth. Ephesians 4:29 (KJV) says, Let no corrupt communication proceed out of your mouth, but that which is good to the use of edifying, that it may minister grace unto the hearers. This is an amazing Scripture. Our communication has the ability to build things up. What are we doing with our communication? Are we building or destroying? Then, it says our communication has the ability to minister grace to the hearers. The word grace there means: that which affords; joy, pleasure, delight, sweetness, charm, loveliness. What are you saying about yourself? What are you saying about your future? What are you saying about others? Are you releasing grace, or are you releasing curses?
One of the best ways to bring good things into your life is through your mouth. Psalms 34:13 (TPT) says, Do you want to live a long, good life, enjoying the beauty that fills each day? Then never speak a lie or allow wicked words to come from your mouth. Another amazing Scripture! It is saying that the quality of life you live is connected to the quality of communication that comes out of your mouth. There is a connection between life and words. Jesus said in John 6:63 (KJV) …The words that I speak unto you, they are spirit, and they are life. Jesus is letting us know our words are not insignificant. They will show up eventually in our lives; they will have an impact. Words go before you; they prepare the way. Job 22:28 (AMP) says, You will also decide and decree a thing, and it will be established for you; And the light [of God’s favor] will shine upon your ways. What you say is what you walk in.
Understand this: your communication in the wilderness places of life will determine whether you stay in the wildness, or come out of it. The Bible teaches us in 1 Corinthians 10:10-11 (TPT), And we must not embrace their ways by complaining—grumbling with discontent, as many of them did, and were killed by the destroyer! All the tests they endured on their way through the wilderness are a symbolic picture, an example that provides us with a warning so that we can learn through what they experienced. For we live in a time when the purpose of all the ages past is now completing its goal within us. Notice, they complained from a place of discontent. The enemy knows that many times, we speak from the wrong place: our feelings; what we have; what we don’t have; and that’s where destructive communication comes from. And instead of activating the move of God, it activates the movement of the destroyer. The enemy is trying to destroy the world around us; let’s not give him legal access into our lives by communicating negativity.
You will not see victory unless you communicate victory. Instead of speaking from a place of discontent, we need to speak from a place of belief in God; that God is going to do what He said, period. Don’t add to it; don’t take away from it. 2 Corinthians 4:13 (KJV) says, We having the same spirit of faith, according as it is written, I believed, and therefore have I spoken; we also believe, and therefore speak… Affect your communication by affecting your believing. How do you do that? Simple! Spend time with the Word; eat the Scroll, and it will begin to cause the clouds of life to draw back, and you will begin to see the Light of the Glory of God. Then, speaking victoriously will be an easy thing.
I leave you with 2 Peter 1:19 (AMP): So we have the prophetic word made more certain. You do well to pay [close] attention to it as to a lamp shining in a dark place, until the day dawns and light breaks through the gloom and the morning star arises in your hearts. Don’t speak against the Word; speak only the Word!
