The Year of Jubilee : Pastor Jeannette Samuels

Jubilee... The 50th year... A year of release and restoration; a year to see things that were held captive released; a year to see forgiveness; a year to enter a rest that can only come from the Lord Himself. I firmly believe that as we celebrate Pastor Tony, and his entering into his jubilee year, we as a congregation are entering into a jubilee season as well. We are getting ready to see the greatest release of God’s presence in our midst; we are getting ready to see things that we have been believing for, things that have been held up be released. We are getting ready to have the rest in our minds, bodies, and spirits that we have been desiring and crying out for.

Leviticus 25:10-13 And you shall hallow the fiftieth year and proclaim liberty throughout all the land to all its inhabitants. It shall be a jubilee for you; and each of you shall return to his ancestral possession [which through poverty he was compelled to sell], and each of you shall return to his family [from whom he was separated in bond service]. That fiftieth year shall be a jubilee for you; in it you shall not sow, or reap and store what grows of itself, or gather the grapes of the uncultivated vines. For it is a jubilee; it shall be holy to you; you shall eat the [sufficient] increase of it out of the field. In this Year of Jubilee each of you shall return to his ancestral property.

God commanded jubilee to the children of Israel. He COMMANDED it! He didn't just suggest it as a good idea. He commanded it "throughout all the land, to all its inhabitants," and that command is still valid today. In this jubilee season, I hear the Lord saying that you will get back everything you had to forget, give up, and surrender due to life situations, circumstances, and even choices. You have worked, toiled, cried, fought, and sown…and now it is time for release.

In the Scripture it states that there is liberation for slaves and servants to return to their native land. Well, I declare that during this jubilee season, you and your family are being moved from the servant and slave mentality to the sonship mentality, and entering into all the Father has as you return to your native land: the Kingdom of Heaven!!!

It's time to celebrate; to dance, to sing, to shout, and to rejoice. It's time to smile and receive joy. It's time for JUBILEE!!! I don't know about you, but as I write this, I am ready to party with our Father; to rejoice in His goodness, His faithfulness, His steadfastness. I’m ready for His great release and rest!!!

Happy Birthday Pastor Tony! We love you, we celebrate you today, and we declare JUBILEE over you! It’s time for your harvest and the year of your rest! HALLELUJAH!!!!
