Being confident of this very thing, that He who has begun a good work in you will complete it until the day of Jesus Christ… - Philippians 1:6 (NKJV)

Today we celebrate a champion in Christ that has successfully completed the discipleship ministry of the Faith Home. Let us remember what the Faith Home is all about: the Faith Home is a place the Lord is using to transform lives. When a man or woman enters the Faith Home, an opportunity is presented to them to learn how to walk in a new life. Through the process of the program, the Lord is teaching and transforming simultaneously. The key is for them to come into contact with the Living God; when you come into contact with the Lord, your life will never be the same.

 Act 10:38 (NKJV) says, …how God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Spirit and with power, who went about doing good and healing all who were oppressed by the devil, for God was with Him. The Lighthouse is a place where the Holy Spirit’s power is being manifested to bring healing and break the chains of oppression as people experience the goodness of God.

The Lighthouse is a place of light, and this light shines bright to bring people out of darkness. This light enables them to see the Lord, and they begin to realize His love and can receive forgiveness. This deals with the past, but then they find out that they have an inheritance from the Lord, and they get into position to receive it. Acts 26:18 (NKJV) says, “…to open their eyes and to turn them from darkness to light, and from the power of Satan unto God, that they may receive forgiveness of sins and an inheritance among those who are sanctified by faith that is in Me.”

The Lighthouse is a place where the Lord is raising up sons and daughters. John 1:12 (KJV) says, But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name. As they receive the Lord, they are leaving the chains of slavery and are putting on the robes of righteousness; they are walking in their sonship…and once a son, always a son. The Lighthouse is a place where prodigal sons and daughters can return to allow the Lord to finish the good work that He has begun in their lives. So as we celebrate this day of completion…a day of new beginnings…let us always allow the Lord to do His good work in our lives. He won’t stop; He will finish it!
