The God Factor : Nikki Santana

For in Him was created the universe of things, both in the heavenly realm and on the earth, all that is seen and all that is unseen. Every seat of power, realm of government, principality, and authority – it all exists through Him and for His purpose! - Colossians 1:16 (TPT)

We’re living in unprecedented times. It can be easy to become weary or afraid. The media is constantly filling the airwaves with negativity. A large part of society has jumped on the bandwagon and stands in total agreement with a propaganda of fear. The church has “left the building” and our country is suffering for it. An evil agenda is being pushed in high places, and it can be all too easy to feel helpless, hopeless, or afraid. But people of God, let’s not forget the greatest factor in any situation we will ever face: our God!

We need to take our eyes off of the world around us, and fix them onto Jesus. See, when we stop looking at the chaos of the natural, when we turn off the news and turn to the Word of God, we’re reminded of just Who our Father is. He is Jesus; He is God. He is Creator of the universe, and He is sovereign; He has supreme authority, and nothing exists that will not ultimately serve His purpose.  Beloved, He is not taken by surprise by any of this. He is the Alpha and the Omega, the Beginning and the End, and He is everything in between. Who can compare to the Lord?  He is Almighty God, Who never leaves us. He is not absent from us in this time! He is constantly working all things to serve His purpose, for the good of those who love Him!

God is Love…but He is not weak. Western “church culture” has watered down the mighty Presence of God, but it’s time to awaken to the reality of Who He is. God speaks, and the universe unfolds. His Presence is terrifying for those who behold Him, and yet He invites us and holds us in His love. He holds the world in powerful hands capable of crushing it to dust, and yet in His great patience He tolerates its sin so we can be saved and restored to Him. What we are facing in this time is but a speck in eternity. He holds it all, He knows it all, and He is in control of it all. Stand in the Truth, beloveds; don’t grow weary. We are the remnant, and we are the carriers of the Kingdom of God. Keep your eyes on Jesus, and stay steady. We can rest, and we can rejoice…because we know how this story ends!

He will swallow up death and [abolish it] for all time. And the Lord God will wipe away tears from all faces, and He will take away the disgrace of His people from all the earth; For the Lord has spoken. It will be said in that day, “Indeed, this is our God for whom we have waited that He would save us. This is for Lord for whom we have waited; let us shout for joy and rejoice in His salvation.” - Isaiah 25:8-9 (AMP)

Living within you is the Christ who floods you with the expectation of glory! This mystery of Christ, embedded within us, becomes a heavenly treasure chest of hope filled with the riches of glory for His people, and God wants everyone to know it! - Colossians 1:27 (TPT)
