The Blessing Zone : Bishop Tony Samuels

Our God is a master at manifesting His goodness in the midst of circumstances that are not so good. He is never intimidated or overwhelmed by the negatives, because He knows He has the power and ability to manifest His perfect will and plan.

From the beginning in Genesis, when God stepped on the scene to find that the earth was a dark void place, He used it as a canvas to demonstrate His creative ability. Now, here we are, living life on a planet that at one time was uninhabitable. We are living in a time that I believe is primetime for God to manifest His goodness. People are hungry for God, although some don’t realize it. God is depending on us to represent Him well in this time. We are not here by chance; we are here on a mission.

Look at what the Bible calls us in 2 Corinthians 5:20: So we are Christ’s ambassadors, God making His appeal as it were through us. We [as Christ’s personal representatives] beg you for His sake to lay hold of the divine favor [now offered you] and be reconciled to God. We have something to offer the world around us, and that is an invitation to be reconciled back to God, to begin to partake of the divine favor of God, to come on into the Blessing Zone.

We are living in a time where we must realize what has been given to us, how to operate in it, and then begin to dispense it to everyone we come into contact with. Galatians 3:13-14 says, Christ hath redeemed us from the curse of the law, being made a curse for us: for it is written, Cursed is every one that hangeth on a tree: That the blessing of Abraham might come on the Gentiles through Jesus Christ; that we might receive the promise of the Spirit through faith. We must understand that Jesus has taken us out of the curse zone, and now we live in the Blessing Zone. This means that we are empowered through our union with Christ to succeed. You have power through Jesus Christ to rise above any situation that may appear in your life.

I think sometimes we complicate our walk with Christ. Look at what Paul said 2 Corinthians 11:3: But I am afraid that, even as the serpent beguiled Eve by his cunning, your minds may be corrupted and led away from the simplicity of [your sincere and] pure devotion to Christ. So Pastor, how do I live in the Blessing Zone? It’s simple! Let’s look to Galatians 3:9: So then, those who are people of faith are blessed and made happy and favored by God [as partners in fellowship] with the believing and trusting Abraham. So you are walking in the Blessing Zone when you are in faith; when you are believing and trusting in God.

The enemy is using a weapon to try to pull the people of God out of the Blessing Zone. He is using fear to pull people out of the blessing, back into the curse zone. So be very careful what information you are feeding on. Examine yourself after reading or listening to it, and ask yourself…did it produce fear, or did it produce faith? 2 Timothy 1:7 says, For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind. Fear is not of God; it is of the enemy. Just like faith opens the door for the Lord to move in our lives, fear opens the door for the enemy to operate in our lives.

There was a man in the Bible named Job who lived in the Blessing Zone. The enemy hated him for it, and wanted to completely destroy him and pull him out of the Blessing Zone. The Bible even says Job lived with a hedge of protection around him! Then one day the hedge came down, and Job left the Blessing Zone. The curse came in and destroyed everything. Let’s look at what Job said at the aftermath in Job 3:25: For the thing which I greatly feared is come upon me, and that which I was afraid of is come unto me. So fear was the way the enemy was able to access his life.

My brothers and sisters, I encourage you to stay in faith, stay out of fear, and live in the Blessing Zone!!! God is going to use your life to demonstrate His goodness, and attract the world around you to Him…through you! Be blessed…because you are blessed!
