And when he was demanded of the Pharisees, when the kingdom of God should come, he answered them and said, The kingdom of God cometh not with observation: Neither shall they say, Lo here! or, lo there! for, behold, the kingdom of God is within you. - Luke 17:20-21
One of the most amazing things about the Lord is the amazing work He has done, and continues to do, on the inside of us. Many times, we miss what God is doing because we base our relationship with Him on what we see with our natural eyes. A lot of times, what God is going to do on the outside of your life will start with something He is doing on the inside of your life. We are a part of a Kingdom that operates from the inside out.
2022 is the Year of Expansion, but before we can see expansion on the outside, we must first expand on the inside. We must expand our thinking, expand our spiritual capacity. Proverbs 4:13 says, Keep and guard your heart with all vigilance and above all that you guard, for out of it flow the springs of life. When the Bible talks about the heart, it is talking about your spirit. We are supposed to guard what goes in our spirit, because what goes in us will determine what come out of us.
The boundaries of your life are not determined by the outside. The boundaries of your life are being determined by your heart. Isaiah 60:5 says, Then thou shalt see, and flow together, and thine heart shall fear, and be enlarged; because the abundance of the sea shall be converted unto thee, the forces of the Gentiles shall come unto thee. As we expand our capacity to receive from God, we will begin to see things on the outside of our lives begin to fall in place. We will begin to attract the things that the Lord desires for our lives.
Look at Psalms 16:6: The boundary lines of the land have fallen for me in pleasant places; Indeed, my heritage is beautiful to me. Mathew 6:33 says, But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you. We don’t focus on outside things; we pursue spiritual things, and in the pursuit of the spiritual, the Lord will bless us in the natural realm. Many have left the spiritual for the natural, and instead of experiencing increase, they have experienced decrease. John 3:30 says, He must increase, but I must decrease. Don’t try to increase yourself; you must increase the flow of God in your life, and then you will increase in every other area of your life.
Stick with it!!! Expansion that is visible comes from the overflow of God in our lives. John 10:10 says, I came that they may have and enjoy life, and have it in abundance (to the full, till it overflows). Stick with it until it overflows. Out of our belly shall flow rivers of living water, full of life. Life on the inside will bring life on the outside.
The Lord wants nothing but the best for your life, but to see it we have to do it His way, not our way. Focus this year on your spiritual capacity, and you will see this Scripture fulfilled in your life: Ephesians 3:20 - Now to Him who is able to [carry out His purpose and] do superabundantly more than all that we dare ask or think [infinitely beyond our greatest prayers, hopes, or dreams], according to His power that is at work within us. 2022 is the Year of Expansion!
