Time Recovery : Pastor Calvin Williams

We’ve all had seasons of loss….loss of relationships, loss of material possessions, and loss of time.  But I’m here to tell you, this is unacceptable. While we’ve all experienced loss, we are not called to stay in a season of loss.  We can compare it to the world of sports.  A winner is only as good as his last season.  Now, every athlete experiences losing seasons, just as every believer has experienced a losing season.  But God has called every one of us to be a winner!  So if we’re not winning…it’s not over!

Ephesians 3:20 says, “Now unto Him, who is able to do exceedingly, abundantly, above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us.” We must remember, God will never do anything beyond what is in us.  This is why we must remain connected to the One Who is able, through His great wisdom, grace, and mercy, to recover every loss, and take us from a losing season into an exceedingly abundant winning season!

Patience is important in the recovery. The flesh and the enemy will always try to get us to leave before the turnaround. Romans 15:5 says, “For whatsoever things were written aforetime were written for our learning, that we through patience and comfort of the Scriptures might have hope.” God has given us His Word so that we might have patience and hope as we wait to see the manifestation of the recovery of lost time. Faith comes by hearing, and by hearing the Word of God! So as we turn to His Word, faith will rise up, patience will have her perfect work, and we will see the recovery of all that we’ve lost!

The Bible says that God is working all things for our good.  Not some things; all things.  So no matter how much time you’ve lost, no matter how long it seems like you’ve been in a losing season, you are a winner!  Your winning season is on its way! Remember, if you’re not winning, it’s not over!
