Walking In The Kingdom Reality of the Blessing : Pastor Tony Samuels

If you are going to walk in all that the Lord has for your life, it is important that you walk in the right reality. Reality means: the world or the state of things as they actually exist. Colossians 1:13 (KJV) says, Who hath delivered us from the power of darkness, and hath translated us into the kingdom of his dear Son. Our reality as believers is that we are now in the Kingdom of God’s Son. Kingdom means: the King’s domain. To reap the benefits of this Kingdom, you must have a Kingdom mentality. The Bible says that as a man thinks, so is he. Even though we are in a new Kingdom, for us to truly walk in it, we must pass through the gates of our mind and change the way we think and view life.

You must understand God’s original intent for man. God created man for relationship, and to absolutely bless his life. Look at what Psalms 8:4-6 (AMPC) says about this: What is man that You are mindful of him, and the son of [earthborn] man that You care for him? Yet You have made him a little lower than God, and You have crowned him with glory and honor. You made him to have dominion over the works of Your hands; You have put all things under his feet. As you can see from these Scriptures, man is on God’s mind, and God is into taking care of him. He gave him a position right next to Himself, and then it says he has been crowned with glory and honor; then God gave him dominion over his creation! You were created to absolutely be blessed by God, and to live in absolutely complete victory. But to walk in this, it can’t just be a concept; it has to become our reality. What makes something a reality in your life? It has to be something that you believe. If you believe a lie over the truth, then a lie will become your reality. If you believe the truth over a lie, then the truth will become your reality.

There is a reality that we need to walk in during these last days, and it is the reality of the blessing. You must understand, when we talk about the blessing, we are talking about the Gospel. Look at Galatians 3:8 (KJV): And the scripture, foreseeing that God would justify the heathen through faith, preached before the gospel unto Abraham, saying, In thee shall all nations be blessed. Our message is incomplete unless we tell people that God not only saves you, but now you are blessed.

It was the blessing that the devil was after when he attacked man in the Garden; through man’s disobedience, the curse was released onto the human race. Jesus came to destroy the power of the curse! Galatians 3:13-14 (KJV) says, Christ hath redeemed us from the curse of the law, being made a curse for us: for it is written, Cursed is every one that hangeth on a tree: That the blessing of Abraham might come on the Gentiles through Jesus Christ; that we might receive the promise of the Spirit through faith. Jesus not only saves us, but He redeemed us from the curse, and when the curse was removed, the blessing came upon us. What is the blessing? It is the Power of the Holy Spirit.

You see, when the power of the blessing comes into your life, it comes to transform your life. No one is ever the same when the power of the blessing begins to operate in their lives. 1 Samuel 10:6 (KJV) says, And the Spirit of the Lord will come upon thee, and thou shalt prophesy with them, and shalt be turned into another man. I think we have limited the term blessing down to just getting stuff. Oh, it is so much more than that; it’s what God gives us to be absolutely successful in this life!

2 Peter 1:3 (AMP) says, For His divine power has bestowed on us [absolutely] everything necessary for [a dynamic spiritual] life and godliness, through true and personal knowledge of Him who called us by His own glory and excellence. This blessing is to empower you to be a great mother; a great father; a great employee; a great minister of the Gospel… whatever is before you to do in life, God has blessed you to be successful. That’s why all this talk about curses is designed to keep us out of this reality, and instead of living life the way God wants us to live, we are fighting things that actually have no legal power or right in our lives.

While here are planet Earth, Jesus flowed in the blessing, and we can learn through His life how to flow in it, too. Acts 10:38 (AMP): …how God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Spirit and with great power; and He went around doing good and healing all who were oppressed by the devil, because God was with Him. You see, when you walk in the reality of the blessing, you become a devil-stomping, curse-breaking man or woman who helps others come out of the cursed life. Now you can see why the devil wants us to waste time fighting him in our personal lives, to make us ineffective in the world around us. So let’s be bold enough to say, “I am blessed,” and now walk in this Blessed Reality!!!!!
