These grace ministries will function until we all attain oneness in the faith, until we all experience the fullness of what it means to know the Son of God, and finally we become one perfect man with the full dimensions of spiritual maturity and fully developed in the abundance of Christ.

Ephesians 4:13 (TPT)

 As we look around our land, it seems like one by one, men are falling away from the truth. As this happens, we can see society being taking down a path that is ungodly, like sheep being led to the slaughter. Ezekiel 22:30 says, “And I sought for a man among them, that should make up the hedge, and stand in the gap before me for the land, that I should not destroy it: but I found none.” Even in the midst of a society that had turned away from God, the Lord was still looking for one man to stand in the gap, to be a hedge of protection so that He would not have to destroy the land…and the Bible says he found none. 

We are at a critical time in our society, and as we just witnessed, the highest office in our land is now being occupied by the ungodly. So what is the answer? Who is the man that the Lord is asking to stand in the gap? It is, and has always been, the Church of Jesus Christ. We are the only ones who have God’s endorsement, that the gates of hell will not prevail against His Church. 

Unfortunately, a great part of the Church is falling for the lie. 2 Timothy 3:5 says, “They may pretend to have a respect for God, but in reality they want nothing to do with God’s power. Stay away from people like these!” A great part of the Church is falling for people who are not real; they are pretenders. The Bible says to turn away from people like these. Instead, the Church has celebrated them, voted for them, and are even cheering for people who pass and endorse policies that are an abomination to God.

The good news is, God always has a Remnant that has not bowed down, that has not compromised…Lighthouse, I believe we are a part of God’s end time Remnant Church. Our standing is making an impact on our society; it is keeping the forces of darkness from completely taking over. We represent God’s hedge of protection as we stand for Him.  

It’s an exciting time to be a sold out believer for Christ! We are the carriers of His Presence! Sometimes it can seem like we are outnumbered, but don’t let what you see dismay you. Look at this verse, 2 Kings 6:16: “And he answered, ‘Fear not: for they that be with us are more than they that be with them.’” The world is searching, and in the coming days, they will be searching even more for the Presence of God. We have to be ready to receive them into God’s Kingdom. Don’t get distracted by the news; instead, saturate your life with the Good News of the Gospel! The message you live your life by will be the message that manifests in your life.  

Romans 8:19, “The entire universe is standing on tiptoe, yearning to see the unveiling of God’s glorious sons and daughters!” The whole universe is looking for the last man standing, and it is God’s sons and daughters…so get ready, Church, for God’s Grand Finale!
