You have circled this mountain long enough; turn northward…

Deuteronomy 2:3 (AMP)

One of the things the enemy hates is progress. He has no problem with us being caught in cycles that go nowhere. If you ever find yourself under attack, the attack is against your progress, to make you stop your spiritual advancement. Exodus 1:9-10 (NLT) says, He said to his people, “Look, the people of Israel now outnumber us and are stronger than we are. We must make a plan to keep them from growing even more. If we don’t, and if war breaks out, they will join our enemies and fight against us. Then they will escape from the country.” Notice, the enemy recognized that the people of God were stronger than he was; it was through containment that they were able to keep them neutralized. The Israelites growing beyond their current boundaries terrified the enemy, and a plan was devised to stop them. This is why no matter what happens in our lives, we must stay in the flow of God. The enemy cannot stop the mighty river of our God; we cannot be contained.

So what do you do when you hit a hard spot in life? You continue! You don’t let the situation, the pain, the disappointment, stop you. You have to be able to carry on despite what you are going through. Look at what the Bible says happened when the enemy tried to execute his plan against the people of God in Exodus 1:12 (AMP): But the more the Egyptians oppressed them, the more they multiplied and expanded, so that the Egyptians were vexed and alarmed because of the Israelites. You see, when you are in God’s plan, the Lord will cause the enemy’s plan to backfire. He sends things to take us out, but just the opposite happens… we come out better!

Look at what Joseph was able to say after he walked through hell to see the fulfillment of the dream that the Lord gave him. Genesis 50:20 (AMP) says, As for you, you meant evil against me, but God meant it for good in order to bring about this present outcome, that many people would be kept alive as they are this day. Oh yes, the enemy’s evil cannot not outdo the Goodness of God in your life! I am going forward… you are going forward, because goodness and mercy shall follow us all the days of our life; and we will dwell in the house of the Lord forever!

You must understand, you are in a fixed fight. You have already won in the realm of the spirit; now it’s just a matter of walking out what has already been done, to receive what has already been given. James 1:12 (AMPC) says, Blessed (happy, to be envied) is the man who is patient under trial and stands up under temptation, for when he has stood the test and been approved, he will receive [the victor’s] crown of life which God has promised to those who love Him. So, my brothers and sisters, let’s do this! Our family is counting on us; our community is counting on us; this nation is counting on us; and the Lord is counting on us!!! So GO… AND DON’T STOP!!!!
