God has made His Goodness available to us on a daily basis. Psalm 31:19 says, Oh how great is thy goodness, which thou hast laid up for them that fear thee; which thou hast wrought for them that trust in thee before the sons of men! So as a child of God, you should always have access to His Goodness. 

One of the things we must understand about the Kingdom of God is that God has given man authority and dominion over the earth. Matthew 16:19 says, I will give you the keys of the kingdom of heaven; and whatever you bind (declare to be improper and unlawful) on earth must be what is already bound in heaven; and whatever you loose (declare lawful) on earth must be what is already loosed in heaven. This is amazing! God has given us the authority to rule and reign on earth, and to bring things on earth into harmony with what’s happening in heaven. 

So how do we do this? Notice, it says to declare. That means there is a language that will attract the Goodness of God to our lives. Psalms 34:12-13 says, Who is the man who desires life, and loves many days, that he may see good? Keep your tongue from evil, and your lips from speaking deceit. The question is, who is the man that desires to see good? In order to see it, the Bible says to keep your tongue from evil. Your tongue is one of the best ways to unlock the Goodness of God in your life!

The Bible is telling us that in order to see God’s Goodness, we are going to have to speak good things. Sometimes this means speaking good in the midst of things that are not so good. Your mouth has the ability to activate the Goodness of God in your life, or hinder the Goodness of God in your life. Proverbs 13:2 says, A good man eats good from the fruit of his mouth. So our portion in life has a lot to do with the words we are speaking. 

Goodness is always available, but are we speaking in line with what God wants to do in our lives? So let me ask you: what are saying about your life? What are you saying about your future? See, your words are the forecast of your future. God desires our lives to be full of His Goodness, but to see it, we have to fill our lives with words of life…words of peace…words of joy; this will create a channel for the Goodness to flow. So today, activate His Goodness in your life!
